Communicating Results with Compelling Narratives

Over the years, CCR Analytics has been fortunate to partner with many agencies, organizations, and advocacy groups to prepare state-wide reports on the efficacy of Head Start and State Preschool programs.  We understand communicating complex statistical results is only effective in the context of a broader story.  If you’re a state organization, cluster of Head Starts, Community Action group, or just a group of programs looking for advocacy materials, contact us to see what we can put together for you.  If you have a common assessment tool or family engagement data collection tool, we can put together a compelling analysis for you too.

California Head Start Child Outcomes Bulletin 2014

81 Head Start programs contributed child assessment data on nearly 50,000 children for the analysis. CCR Analytics was able to determine how much the Head Start programs contribute to the children’s development using a methodology called Regression Discontinuity Design. Head Start’s impact on child development was found to have a significant impact on a child’s readiness for Kindergarten.

California Head Start Child Outcomes Bulletin 2012

Children who attend Head Start reach developmental milestones two and a half to five months earlier than children who do not. This finding holds true across a variety of developmental areas. Child assessment data was collected on all three and four year-olds enrolled in 30 California Head Start programs. Statistical analysis was conducted on a subset of this group totaling 9,665 children to determine how much the children benefited from participating in Head Start as three-year-olds.
